THC had a great time at the inaugural Columbus On Tap festival, in Columbus Indiana.

Our August meeting was focused on historical beer styles. Todd Cogswell presented on Koyt and Gose styles, Lloyd Chatham discussed Kotbusser, Hugh Gardner explained Mumm and other gruit styles, and Keith Goldstein from Circle City Zymurgy joined us to talk about his Piwo Z Grodziska (which won best of show in the 2021 Indiana Brewers’ Cup). Slide deck from presentation is included below.

Lloyd held his annual St Patricks day party, and many club members attended.

Here is our crew and beer list.

THC was happy to attend Fermentation Frenzy 2023, held by Purdue Food Science and tue Fermentation Sciences program.

Here is what we are pouring

So THC had a great time serving beers on the Madam Carroll as part of the 3rd Annual BrewsCruise. Hugh, Lloyd, Tom, Carl, Anne and Becky poured homebrew samples, which were provided by Lloyd Chatham, Tom Miller, Todd Cogswell, Hugh Gardner, Benny Goller, Michael Meeks (and Rich?)

Members:I just wanted to remind everyone that this Sunday, May 22, from 11-5 is Parilla! There will be a number of dishes coming off of the grills starting about 11:30. Bacon wrapped pickles, shrimp tacos, ribs, salmon, and other grilled dishes await you. And sharing home brewed and commercial beers too. We hope to see you then.
